It's a shame ASiE doesn't have much of a fandom (I looked for fic once or twice and was sad to find that not much showed up), because it's one of my favourite Gaiman works, and the world he paints is so interesting.

The easiest place to find Nevil is Kim Newman's Professor Moriarty: The Hound of the D'Urbervilles. The chapter he appears in, "The Red Planet League," was originally printed as a standalone short story in a Sherlock Holmes sci fi and fantasy anthology, but it makes more sense as part of the novel. (And I totally mean to actually play Nevil somewhere once I'm a little less busy.)
