I just wanted to let you know that I'm really enjoying the various adventures and hope you plan to write more cases for Moriarty and Moran. I came here by accident while looking for A Study in Emerald fanfic. (While I love Neil Gaiman, I wish there were more stories in this 'verse, or even that ASiE had more of a fandom. There just seems to be so much left unexplored.) I love how you blend elements of Canon!Moriarty's backstory with things that are only hinted at in ASiE.
(Also, sorry to post with Nevil here, although I'm sure he'd enjoy annoying Moriarty in any and all 'verses. I don't have a non-RP DW account.)
Thanks! This comment has kind of made my day. I am planning to do more cases, once I'm a little less busy. It's a shame ASiE doesn't have much of a fandom (I looked for fic once or twice and was sad to find that not much showed up), because it's one of my favourite Gaiman works, and the world he paints is so interesting.
No problem, re: posting with Nevil. He looks really interesting, I may have to see if I can find his canon anywhere.
The easiest place to find Nevil is Kim Newman's Professor Moriarty: The Hound of the D'Urbervilles. The chapter he appears in, "The Red Planet League," was originally printed as a standalone short story in a Sherlock Holmes sci fi and fantasy anthology, but it makes more sense as part of the novel. (And I totally mean to actually play Nevil somewhere once I'm a little less busy.)
